A daytime pottery class designed for those students who are home schooled.

Clay invites us to make marks with our hands, fingers; to give expression and form to ideas. Some of the first objects formed by hand were made from clay. From ritual figures to functional objects.
Using the work of artists from all mediums as inspiration, students will be given space and opportunity to explore the medium and finds news ways of expression to help them learn and make sense of the world.

While results and outcome are important, a lot of emphasis is placed upon process and the learning of technique and skills. Projects are often project driven and guided by student interest.
